You’ll notice that Cherry (the singing cartoon girl) is hella curvy. Here’s what Noise du Jour has to say about that.
The first thing anyone notices about little Cherry is that she’s positively chubby. And not in that over-voluptuous, massive-titted way that most cartoonists represent “heavy, sexy” girls. Cherry’s got soft arms, fat knees, a wide and mobile rump, but most unusually, a round belly. Try finding that in idealized female portrayals elsewhere–it’s not easy. Note that in most fanart of Cherry so far, her pear shape is pitched in favor of amore comfortable and familiar hourglass . The only thing that could give her more integrity as a sex-positive portrayal of a heavier woman would be a double chin
