A Thursday Interruption: THIS IS FOR THE THICK CHICKS

Haha “sz 16 — depending on the jeans.”

I’m continuing to kick it black feminist with Alicia Keys’ “Superwoman.”

And now for some Zoe love. <3

NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

Poly Sterene died on Tuesday. :(

I ADORE ZOE. She may very well be my favorite character from Firefly (although it’s so hard to choose!)

I recently had a moment where my sister was trying to figure out who she should be for a costume party, and I was all ‘OMG BE ZOE’ 8D And then I realized how incredibly difficult that would be… considering my sister is as pasty pale as I am, with straight, blond hair.

Which now makes me wonder how black cosplayers feel : (

Black feminism is awesome! So is Alicia Keyes! Thanks for posting that video :)

You know, if you sister dressed like Zoe and dyed her hair red, she would look like River Song from Doctor Who.

Loved the Thick Chicks clip, especially the bit about eating French fries. It’s not a sin to eat chocolate. We’re not required to suffer for the sake of what other people think our bodies should look like.
